HAZMAT Contaminated Casualty Care (HCCC)

Join us for this intensive two-day advanced course designed for experienced HAZMAT and medical responders operating in complex HAZMAT and CBRNe environments.
HCCC focuses on the integration of medical care, decontamination, and incident management when medical urgency and contamination risks occur at the same time. Building on HAZWOPER technician principles, AHLS, Tactical Casualty Care, and advanced disaster and tactical medical doctrine, participants will work through the challenges of providing immediate care while navigating the operational demands of a contaminated environment.
Throughout the course, participants will explore hot, warm, and cold zone medical operations, dry and hybrid decontamination, pediatric and special population considerations, responder safety, and medical reassessment and transport following decontamination. Case studies, facilitated problem-solving, and scenario-based application will provide opportunities to work through real-world operational challenges and competing priorities.
Designed for experienced responders, HCCC provides a practical opportunity to strengthen medical decision-making and better integrate medical operations into sustained HAZMAT and CBRN response.
