Detection equipment is expensive, sensitive, and mission-critical, yet it is often overlooked during decontamination operations. Improper decontamination can lead to false readings, long-term damage, or even complete loss of capability.
This live online demonstration will cover proven approaches for decontaminating detectors such as the AP4C, other detection equipment, and electronic devices like cell phones and body cameras. The session will focus on Dry Decon and Hybrid Decon techniques using FiberTect wipes and Dahlgren Decon.
Join Corey Collings and Kevin Flood as they walk through detector decontamination step by step and share practical guidance for protecting sensitive equipment and safely returning it to service.
This session is scheduled a little later than usual as part of “Prime Time at First Line,” allowing us to better connect with international partners and responders around the world.
