Hybrid Decon Training (4hr)

Participants will be instructed on how to properly utilize the First Line Technology Dahlgren Decon, FiberTect, Enhanced Decon Systems Kit (EDS), Electrostatic Decon Kits (EDK), and FastGrab to perform field decontamination of individuals and equipment exposed to a variety of dangerous contaminants including synthetic opioids. The principles of hybrid decontamination without external water sources will be presented. The course will include operational guidance and a refresher on mass casualty decon referencing the latest evidence-based approaches. Participants will then demonstrate this knowledge through a hands-on practical exercise simulating real-world scenarios. This Hybrid decon training course will also include the Decon Field Guide app and web portal access.
