TST Chemical Escape Hood
Civilian Style Gas Mask with Chlorine Protection

The TST Chemical Escape Hood is a civilian Air Purifying Respirator (APR) ideal for protecting workers and civilians who may unexpectedly find themselves in a contaminated environment. Its easy to use design is comfortable to wear and is easily put on in seconds. Two exhaust valves provide high capacity air flow and low breathing resistance. The hood material is chemical resistant with reflective bands and sealed seams. Available with two types of interchangeable filters, both providing 20 minutes of respiratory protection at the maximum concentration of chlorine. The TST Chemical Escape Hood has a 15-year shelf life but the filters must be replaced every 5 years or after the filter vacuum seal is broken.

SWEDE APRs require an oxygen rich environment (IDLH) or at least 19.5% oxygen for safe operation.
