SWEDE CBRN Escape Hood
Civilian CBRN Respiratory Protection

The SWEDE CBRN Escape Hood is a civilian Air Purifying Respirator (APR) ideal for protecting people and first responders who may unexpectedly find themselves in a contaminated environment.  The simplified, easy to use design is comfortable to wear and is easily put on (donned) in seconds.  The polyester material, sealed seams, and interchangeable CBRN filter provide excellent resistance to all known chemical and biological agents for up to 60 minutes of respiratory protection.  The SWEDE CBRN Escape Hood has a 15-year shelf life but the filters must be replaced every 5 years or after the filter vacuum seal is broken.

SWEDE APRs require an oxygen rich environment (IDLH) or at least 19.5% oxygen for safe operation.
