SWEDE Communication Kit
2-Way Communications for Respirators

The SWEDE Communication Kit is a 2-way PPE communication system that does not compromise the safety and integrity of the PPE design. Speak face-to-face, over a radio network or even enhance larynx vibrations of casualties to communicate while inside of PPE. Reusable microphones and speakers are placed inside the hood and are also attached to an exterior voice amplifier. Butyl PAPR hoods are manufactured with gas tight fittings to ensure the integrity of the SWEDE design. Voice amplifier adapters are available for a wide variety of radios. The SWEDE Communication Kit requires only a 9-volt battery.
