How does it work?
PhaseCore Sport Wraps are fitted with 2, 4 or 6 PhaseCore 28 elements that have an activation point of 82.4°F (28°C). When the body temperature rises above this point, the element begins to absorb heat energy and transforms from a solid to a liquid. PhaseCore 28 elements will remain at their activation point as the heat energy is absorbed and stored. PhaseCore 28 elements recharge and return to their solid state when the ambient temperature drops below the activation point. The rate of cooling will vary according to physical activity, body type, and the environmental conditions. PhaseCore 28 elements have a 10 year or 6,000 cycle life.

Is it Effective?
PhaseCore Sport Wraps can be converted into heating wraps by “melting” the PhaseCore elements into their liquid state. In the liquid state, PhaseCore elements will be saturated with heat energy that can be applied to the body to provide heating relief of aching muscles.

How does it recharge?
PhaseCore Sport Wraps require no batteries, ice, refrigeration or air pumps to recharge to its cooling state. When the ambient temperature around the PhaseCore 28 element cools, the stored heat energy is discharged and the PhaseCore 28 element returns to a solid state. It is simple, easy, safe and reusable. PhaseCore 28 elements become heating packs when exposed to heat in excess of 82.4°F (28°C) but not to exceed 140°F (60°C).
