CHANTILLY, VA (Feb. 6, 2014) – First Line Technology, LLC, a manufacturer and provider of Out of the Box Solutions, partnered with Advanced Healthcare Technology (AHT) as the U.S. master distributor of AHT’s BabyPod II to provide medical transport for infants. The compact BabyPod is made of a lightweight, strong carbon fiber and is lined with a shock-absorbent foam inner layer and First Line believes that it is the best way to transport the world’s most precious patients.
Challenge: First Line Technology is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer and supplier of out-of-the-box solutions that solve challenges faced by first responders and the military. The products they manufacture can have more than twenty different parts, with an equal number of subparts. Initially, First Line Technology relied on QuickBooks for their accounting needs, but found that the simple methods used by QuickBooks to track inventory did not allow them to track parts effectively.
Galveston County soon will have a new tool to help evacuate people in case of an emergency, such as a hurricane.
The county’s department of emergency management recently won a nationwide contest conducted by First Line Technology. The prize: a kit that converts a bus into an ambulance. The kit is worth $35,000.

First Line Technology grew 217 percent during this period.
First Line Technology’s president, Amit Kapoor, credits quality products and an effective team with the company’s 217% revenue growth.

Christmas came early for Red Rock Search and Rescue.
First, the city of Las Vegas found affordable new headquarters for the nonprofit group. Then, it was awarded a $35,000 kit that will convert a bus into an ambulance transport vehicle.
“It’s capable of transporting 18 people at a time,” said the group’s commander, Dave Cummings. “It’s designed for real-life disasters, which is something I think we need to be prepared for here in Las Vegas. God forbid anything happens, but you have to be realistic. We are a terrorist target. That’s what all the agencies prepare for, but then again, we could have a large hotel disaster.”
